This 12-story structure defies the negative stereotype of parking facilities, featuring quality details that harmonize with neighboring buildings. Paneled spandrels and metal columns suggest traditional “Chicago windows,” while a tiled roof covers the elevator tower. In 1991, it was awarded “Best New Building” by Friends of Downtown, a nonprofit community group dedicated to preserving the character of downtown Chicago.
