My-Nga began her career in architecture in 1999 with Lucien, having been inspired by his innate sense of aesthetics coupled with a deep understanding of the characteristics that create a home. Recognizing her own true passion for residential design and driven by a desire to refine high-end high rise living, she has gone on to work on many projects including 840 N. Lake Shore Drive, the Pinnacle Tower, and Waldorf Astoria Chicago. As a Senior Designer, she lead the design on Ten East Delaware, Lincoln Park 2550, and a mixed-use high-rise building in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Prior to joining Lucien Lagrange Studio, My-Nga served as a Senior Designer with Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill, working on various projects internationally, with project types ranging from residential, hotel, and mixed-use.
Then at Solomon Cordwell Buenz, she led the design as Senior Designer on 4 East Elm, a boutique condominium project in the Chicago Gold Coast neighborhood, and 1326 S. Michigan Ave, a high-end 500 units rental apartment high rise in the South Loop.
My-Nga has extensive experience designing highly efficient and financially successful residential buildings geared toward the luxury urban home buyer or renter. Her work is characterized by thoughtful ideas that bring a sense of place to the user as well as value to the design for the client. She acknowledges that architects are often entrusted with helping people realize their dreams, and she is grateful for that privilege.
She received her Bachelor of Architecture at McGill University in Montreal. She is currently a member of the American Institute of Architects, a LEED AP, and holds NCARB accreditation.
