Principal
Wayne oversees technical development and quality control in conjunction with both senior management and project architects, ensuring construction is consistent with initial design. He works closely with project architects to reinforce technical coordination issues, anticipating and solving problems that arise. With the firm’s management, Wayne has established Lucien Lagrange Architects’ Quality Approach.
With more than 25 years of experience at major Chicago firms, Wayne is knowledgeable and capable in technical issues such as construction documents, interdisciplinary coordination, codes and standards, field observation, and construction administration. He has worked extensively on residential projects including senior living, high-rise luxury condominiums, and quality apartments. Additionally, Wayne’s experience includes work in corporate office, hospitality, and banking, on projects in Chicago, throughout the country, and internationally.
Wayne received his Bachelor of Architecture in Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
