Press Release: Lucien Lagrange Architects Promotes 7

Lucien Lagrange Architects (LLA) has promoted 7 design professionals on its 50-member staff. Senior-level promotions include My-Nga Lam from associate to senior associate and John Shahlapour, AIA, and David Hoffman, AIA, from senior architects to associates.

With 9 years at LLA, My-Nga is the senior designer on projects including the Sigma Towers in Romania, Lincoln Park 2520, and 10 East Delaware. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from McGill University in Montreal. She is a resident of suburban Lisle.

John manages the firm’s work on Chicago’s ultra-luxury Elysian Hotel & Private Residences and the Ritz-Carlton Residences. A member of the AIA, he received Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. John lives in suburban Crystal Lake.

David currently manages a 50-story office tower in Chicago’s Loop, as well as the renovation of an existing 35-story building into a hotel and the redevelopment of an existing hospital site.  He received a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University and resides in the River West neighborhood of Chicago.

In other staffing moves, LLA announced promotions from architect III to senior architect for Forest Bahruth and Rob Brolin. Additionally, Michael Clark and Jason Dowling rose from architect II to architect III.
